Privacy Policy
A static site with no accounts, no analytics cookies, and one localStorage key for your theme.
Effective date: August 9, 2026
Last updated: August 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how AGIBytes (“AGIBytes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use agibytes.net (the “Site”). This policy is intended for users in the United States.
1. Information we collect
a. Information you provide
If you email us (for example at [email protected] or [email protected]), we receive the content of your message, your email address, and any information you include.
b. Automatic technical data
The Site is served through Cloudflare's content delivery network. Like virtually all web hosting, Cloudflare's infrastructure logs technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps for security and reliability purposes. See Cloudflare's privacy documentation for how they handle that data.
c. Local storage
If you use the light/dark theme toggle, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under a single key. It is not a cookie, is not transmitted to us, and you can clear it any time via your browser settings.
d. What we do NOT collect
- No user accounts or sign-ups
- No analytics or advertising cookies set by us
- No tracking pixels or fingerprinting
- No sale of personal information
2. How we use information
Email correspondence is used to respond to you. Technical/CDN data is used by our hosting provider to serve the Site securely and reliably.
3. Sharing
We share information only with service providers who host and secure the Site (currently Cloudflare), when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.
4. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party sites (model makers' documentation, papers, official downloads). Those sites have their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for their practices.
5. Your privacy rights (United States)
Depending on your state of residence (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, delete, or correct personal information. Given how little we collect, in most cases the honest answer to an access request is "an email thread, if you emailed us." To exercise rights, email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request.”
Children: The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
6. Changes
If our practices change (for example, if we ever add analytics or advertising), we will update this policy and revise the “Last updated” date before those changes take effect.
